I would also buy the Sister album "Willie Nelson American Classic". This piece of work is considered a Classic and one of, if not Willie's BEST recording. Item was as advertised and received in a timely manner. I am well pleased
I love Willie Nelson, but this CD is disappointing compared to his first album of standards recorded about thirty years ago. The arrangements, frankly, are a little boring and Willie almost talks his way through some of these songs. Willie Nelson, now about 76 years old, can definitely still sing but he seems to have gotten lazy on this recording.
I am really enjoying the CD "Stardust" by Willie Nelson. His unique treatment of standard ballads is terrific. I'm so glad to have found this on Amazon after a fruitless search in local retailers. I look forward to many hours of relaxing listening.
This is the best Willie Nelson CD that I have ever heard. Every song is a jem. If you are a Willie Nelson fan or just a lover of good music this is a must-have CD. You will not be disappointed.
